Yet I am always with You; You hold my right hand.
Psalms 73:23 HCSB
Father I keep forgetting that You’re always here, no matter the situation. Today I have realized that there are certain things I cannot do, have no strength to do, and have no control over. Father instead of wearing myself out trying to solve things, move things in my favor, and make things right, I surrender. I give these things over to You. I will stop interfering and just let go. My only effort will be through prayer, but I will not actively engage and continue to cause more disruption and frustration. Let it be Your will not mine. I surrender in Jesus’ name. Amen.
There are some things, people, relationships, and situations that we are trying to hold on to, control, make right, rescue, etc. Each day the struggle weighs heavy on us. Each day the weight slowly suffocates us.
We have absolutely no control over the outcome, and our perceived control will only make matters worse.
Tell God that you surrender these issues over to Him. Who else can handle these issues better than God? Why continue adding more stress and discomfort to yourself when you can surrender, release the weight, and allow Him to settle all things? Can it be any worse than where we are right now? Let go.
Questions of the Day
1. What issues are you struggling with that you know you need to surrender to God? (You don’t have to be specific, just use categories such as: family, finances, school, job, etc)
2. Are you ready to surrender these issues to God?

It’s Friday but don’t get into party mode until your work day ends. Work each minute and hour like it’s Tuesday. Give your all, showing gratitude for the gift of having a job/career, the gift of having money to pay bills, invest, shop, etc. If you dread where you work and it’s a toxic environment then pray that God shows you the exit door. If you dread where you work just because it puts pressure and a sense of inconvenience upon you, then pray that God shows you His truth and reality. Don’t forget that you must first surrender and let go!
I love you all!
