Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 4.28.15

Scripture
For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth. The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
Psalms‬ ‭10‬:‭3-7‬ AMP
Pray

Only through You Lord am I capable of doing and being anything. My successes are Your doing. My failures are due to my lack of obedience to You. There are no paths better, faster, safer, or more reliant than Yours. I pray to one day see myself as You see me, so that I can be more appreciative of You and all that You have done for me. Thank You for each moment that You give me in this world. I apologize when I behave of this world and not of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Reflection

When we forget, omit, deny, or conditionally consider God’s role in our lives, as our Creator, Nurturer, Healer, Protector, Director, and Provider—we suffer the consequences of our ignorance, arrogance, self-absorption, and limited brain capacity and capability. We are our biggest enemy.

1. What do you think about today’s message?

2. What would you like to add to the pray and/or reflection?
