I do you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood good, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.
1 Peter 2:9 NIV
Thank You for this day Father. As a gift I embrace it fully, and will make the decision to be present, so that I can fully appreciate what today has to offer. Thank You for Your love and care. Amen.
Look at today and what it offers. Don’t be concerned about tomorrow, God has that covered. Don’t dwell on the past, it’s behind you. If you can, learn from that history so that you don’t repeat the mistakes. But remember that you can’t stand strong or move forward with one foot in the past, and one trying to fast-track to the future. You’re bound to stumble and fall.
