“For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities — all things have been created through Him and for Him.”
Colossians 1:16 HCSB
Father I know that You have all of the power, that You know the truth because You are the Truth, and I know that there is nothing that can be done by human or creature that You don’t know about. You give us free will to make decisions and You already know the outcome.
I pray for discernment, strength, courage, and grace. Only You truly know what I have gone through and what I’m currently going through. You have known me longer than any human can testify to, so our relationship is real and unique.
As Your child and servant I’m humbled. I know that You are molding me each day and using me for the purposes that You see fit. I pray for the protection and ability to live and be as You intend. When I’m most vulnerable, while I’m under attack and especially when I’m at peace, please protect me.
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Wow my last scripture, prayer, and reflection was shared on November 19, 2015—exactly two months to the day. This was not intentional by me. Please believe it!
So by now you may have read my very long message to you that explained where I’ve been, what I’ve been doing, and how God has been working on me and in my life.
Look at how He’s working on, for, and through you. If you can’t see it then your eyes aren’t open. Open your eyes. Look around. Listen for His voice. Block out the noise of the world and listen. Touch your heart. Is it warm and open or cold and hardened?
You are God’s creation and He wants to give you everything that you deserve, but it requires your faith, commitment and work. It can’t be a one-sided relationship. He can’t do all of the work. It can’t be based on conditions that constantly satisfy your wants and desires. You can’t dictate to God. But you can block your blessings. You can miss out on opportunities. You can sabotage the greatness coming your way. You can limit yourself.
He sees all, hears all, and knows all. You can’t hide from Him. You can’t scheme against Him. So while you speak with Him, pray to Him, cry out to Him, you also need to be working and following Him.
Don’t ask for help but then try to dictate to God the form in which the help should come.
If you haven’t read “Message From Natasha…Finally” please do. It’s my testimony.
Welcome to 2016! A new year filled with countless opportunities and blessings, waiting just for you. Will you embrace them and experience new growth? Or will you do the same things you have been doing and keep getting the same disappointing results that you have been receiving?
God gives us the choice. What will you choose to do with, for, and through your life?
Love always your sister in Christ,
