Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 1.19.17

Psalm 118:22

Father thank You for my life, my blessings, and for today. I’m humbly grateful.

Father You know my struggles, the obstacles before me, the people trying to block my blessings, and the circumstances that cause me great pain. You know those who have rejected me, those who still reject me, and You already know my place.

I have faith in You Lord. I have faith that I’m not merely the rejected stone, but that I become the cornerstone of a great plan that You have devised. I have faith that the talents and skills that You have blessed me with will be fully utilized and appreciated, and I will be rewarded handsomely. I pray to You as Your servant, who strives to be faithful and obedient at all times. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Someone doesn’t see your worth and value. That’s fine, God does.

Someone doesn’t see you in their present or future. That’s fine, God has a special place for you to shine.

Someone doesn’t respect you and your uniqueness. That’s fine. God has plenty of people to surround you who do.

Someone’s punishing you for not being obedient and subservient to them. That’s fine. God is your protector and provider. God says, “be obedient to Me!” and you and you will never be forced under the rule of someone else.

Someone has rejected you. That’s fine. You never stopped being in God’s Hands. He will make you the cornerstone in a wall your rejector never envisioned you to be apart of–and you will thrive.

Smile now, not just later, because God has you!

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 ESV

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
    Romans 8:31 ESV

And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. Matthew 10:14 ESV

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 ESV

A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. …
