Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 5.1.19

Unless the LORD builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted.

Unless the LORD protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.

Psalm 127:1-2 NLT

If God isn’t the all-encompassing source of everything you do and say, then you are being misled and aren’t living up to your full potential, and what is expected of you. If God didn’t make provisions for you to purchase, create or invest into something, then you will always be lacking and spiritually bankrupt. We must seek God in all things, first, throughout, and after. When scared, we must cling to Him and pray for the courage to continue. When we are uncomfortable or imbalanced, we must turn to Him to tilt the scales.

Seek Him, surrender to Him, embrace Him, and reflect Him!

Father touch my head and heart, that they might align properly and guide my feet where You want me to go. Let me only do what You call me to do. Let me rest when tired, so that I might give my full energy and effort to serving You. Show me the way and the light so that I don’t preoccupy myself with senseless things that don’t matter to You. I only want to focus on what You want me to focus on Father. Remove any fear that may cause me to hesitate, stumble, or hide. Today I take the next step.

Love always,
