Breaking Bread for 10.30.19

For what a man thinks, he is.

Proverbs 23:7

There’s a saying that, “what you think about you bring about”. Our thoughts and speech are powerful. We can either speak and think of a prosperous future or a bleak existence. Our words and thoughts are energy that come from within. What type of energy do you want to put out there?

I’m about to board an airplane to head home to California, and I’m mindful of my thoughts, as it’s easy to fear the what-ifs. The anxiety of my ER visit last week wants to jump in and stir things up inside of me. But I’m inspired by the comforting feeling that God always has me even when I feel astray, lost, or alone.

I rather focus on the goodness, positivity, and greatness. I am more than fine and okay. I will have a safe and relaxing flight to and from California. I will have an amazing time with family and friends. All is well. All will be well.

Happy birthday shout outs to Debra Collins and Shante Broadus.

Father I pray for clear, positive, loving thoughts about myself and others. Let me be rid of negativity, fear, and darkness.
