Breaking Bread For 12.3.19

Scripture

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil. After He had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, He was hungry. Then the tempter approached Him and said, “If You are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

Matthew 4:1-3 HCSB

Reflection

Don’t ever let the enemy convince you that you need to prove anything. Rebuke it and keep moving.

Prayer

Father, I pray for the strength, discernment, courage, and faith to see the enemy for what it is and to not be deceived, encouraged, enticed, lured, trapped, or manipulated into following it or falling into its ways. Let me rebuke it each time my attention is caught. In Your name, I pray. Amen.

Lovingly,

Natasha
