Breaking Bread for 3.19.20

Scripture

…’Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. You will not have to fight this battle…. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”

2 Chronicles 20:15, 17

Reflection

Sometimes we’re too self-centered and self-consumed to realize that some battles are not meant for us to fight, for in our faith and patience God’s promise conquers our enemy—whether it be imagined or real.

Pray to God to always reveal what you need to see and do, and that you can discern His revelations and act accordingly. Pray to God that you will always be ready for and obedient to His command.

Be thankful for each new day. Be thankful for the blessings that you didn’t see coming and the ones you didn’t know were present.

Prayer

Father, I pray to You for foresight, discernment, strength, courage, wisdom, common sense, and patience—to persevere and overcome all obstacles. I know that things both big and small You can handle. I also know that You will always equip me with the tools that I need to succeed.

I thank You Lord for all my past, current, and future victories. I thank You for protecting my heart from being crushed by the hurtful things people say and do to me. I thank You for helping me to see my wrong so that I strive to do right, do better, and atone. I love You Father. Thank You for loving me. Amen.

Love,

Natasha
