Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer, and Reflection for 8.15.19

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

2 Timothy 1:9-10 NIV

God has given us more than we need. We need to utilize our resources and gifts to the fullest. Don’t waste it. Don’t take it for granted. Don’t abuse it. Pay it forward so that others may be blessed by God, through you.

Father, thank You for saving me and for providing me with a model in Jesus—to follow forever.

I want my eyes open to see all that You want me to see. I want my ears alert to always hear Your call, and heed the warnings of Your angels.

I want to be present in the moment to always be ready yet also fully aware of what life has to offer—so that I can appreciate each second of each day.
