Natasha’s Daily Scripture, Prayer and Reflection for 1.30.12

Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father.

John 10:37

Father as You continue to mold me, let me see the err in my ways, and fill my heart with the courage to fix my wrongs and work passionately to never repeat them. Free me Father from having a forked tongue, speaking one way that appears righteous and good, then moments later having the vocabulary of the vilest of people.

I want to be more like Jesus, more like Moses, more like Joshua, Miriam, Bathsheba, and other honorable followers of Your light. I don’t want to just say I’m a Christian, take part in Christian activities, or attend church for the effect or affect, but rather I want to act, behave, think, and speak as You would expect of me. Mold me Father. Mold me. Amen.

Until we speak, think, act, and live our lives like Jesus and as God expects then who can really trust that we are true believers and followers of Christ, and that we walk as Christ does? We must change our ways in order to see change in the world.
