For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
We must put our faith, understanding, and reliance upon God and not man.
Man is flawed by influences of the world, just as we are. We are born perfect and then man interferes and disrupts.
The perfect example of where we ought to be is, Jesus— who had evolved and transformed as God intended. Even in his last days, when he cried out in a moment of fear and doubt, God comforted him with a still calm that let him know that all was well and would be dealt with the right way at the right time. God reassured him that His plan was to be fulfilled and with that realization Jesus leaned unto God’s understanding and thereby demonstrated life after human death, and that we all are spiritual beings working towards a life beyond this level of existence.
Do you have that faith?
Father there is no other that I place before You, that I rely upon first, that I praise or worship, that I lean on, or that I talk to first but You. I hear Your voice directing me daily and You have given me the choice to listen and follow, or to ignore You and do my own thing.
You sent Your son to us to save us from ourselves and from the “liar” who would have us to believe that we can be You and have power and glory equal to or greater than Yours.
We desire the things of the flesh more than we do of You. For those things Father I ask for forgiveness. I want to walk always in Your light. In Your name I pray for strength, faith, obedience, focus, peace, and dignity each and every day. Amen.
